SportCaller unveil new games with Sportsbet

SportCaller, the free-to-play (FTP) sports-game specialist, has unveiled a series of localised sports games with which to help grow and retain Sportsbet’s sports-mad customer base.

Having proven itself with the initial launch of its free-to-play NBA basketball game, SportCaller was quickly recommissioned by the Australian operator to expand its gaming portfolio to include some of the country’s most popular domestic sports, namely Australian rules football and rugby league, with an organic cross-sell between existing games – all of which are integrated within the Sportsbet app.

These prediction games, which offer jackpot prizes up to $350,000, ask users to predict the First Try or Goalscorer of five featured NRL or AFL matches each weekend in multiple-bet propositions.

These FTPs are already delivering boosts for both acquisition and retention activity with Sportsbet, as the AFL and NRL seasons have kicked off over the past few months.

Exclusively, these games are powered from a Single Sign On system, which grants the most seamless user journey on the market, with players registering and logging-in to play the games or bet from a one-wallet experience.

Having made their FTP selections, it’s only a simple step for players to back up their opening try or goalscorer views via a live-odds “bet prompt” integrated with the bet slip.

Unique CRM offers operators access to the user data via a secure API from which they can run any push notification, fully confident that all opt-ins are up-to-date and everything is GDPR-compliant.

SportCaller MD Cillian Barry said:

“Having pioneered the free-to-play jackpot model with football and racing, it’s rewarding to see our games’ core values of outstanding gameplay and bet-conversion export so effectively into other sports.

“Cracking a new continent in partnership with Sportsbet’s was a no-brainer, as they have the expertise and ambition to invest and grow market share Down Under.

“SportCaller’s patented database schema and integration are flexible enough to easily adapt to the differing data and logic of any sport, maximising the FTP possibilities, no matter what the territory.”

Ryan O’Callaghan, Head of Sports Product at Sportsbet, added:

“We were pleasantly surprised with the performance and retention rates when we first enlisted sports callers FTP expertise on the NBA.

“The performance gave us confidence to contract them to create new FTP games for our users across additional sporting codes. The chance to back their favourite players to score first for a huge jackpot has been taken up by both casual and regular punters.”

SportCaller has recently released a range of World Cup “Predictor” games that also elevate player activity for operators across a series of betting-related questions, which have user engagement and ensuing bet-conversion at their heart. All games can be accessed on mobile, app and desktop.
