With intense competition and sky-high costs to acquire and retain customers in the US sportsbetting market, Free-to-Play (FTP) has gained real traction in the last year as a must-have offering for US operators.
The EGR North America Awards are considered the premier gaming awards for companies operating in North America, and these nominations recognise the success of SportCaller’s innovative range of FTP offerings, delivered for some of the leading US operators – including FanDuel, BetMGM, and West Coast horse racing network, TVG.

A real highlight of 2020 for SportCaller in the US was the hugely popular FanDuel FTP game that coincided with the rare ‘Sports Equinox’ – where fixtures for all four US major sports leagues were played over the same weekend.
A key feature of SportCaller’s offering is adaptability: new games have quick turnaround times and can be delivered and run seamlessly from a single platform. Additional benefits are their ability to be accessed by users through Single Sign On (SSO) features, and that they can be offered through operators’ Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) platforms – rather than the more restricted Sportsbook accounts.
Never has this flexibility and agility been more important than in the current environment. With the hiatus in live sports globally, newly created SportCaller games have helped client-operators engage their customers with the fast-growing popularity of eSports, most recently for the virtual NBA 2K Players Tournament. A range of historical Sports Quiz trivia and hyper-casual games also have imminent launch dates – which will help to keep sports fans engaged and connected, as they spend an unprecedented amount of time at home.
