The NBA Playoffs might have been delayed this year – but this hasn’t dampened the level of interest in them Stateside and beyond
With well-managed COVID-19 protocols having been implemented by the US Major Leagues and teams, the US sporting calendar is starting to settle back into normal rhythms – with a strong focus on the NBA Playoffs over the next two months.
To tap into this, FanDuel has just launched a SportCaller game around the business end of the NBA season, called ‘Hoops Challenge’. It’s a Free-to-Play (F2P) predictor style game, where players submit who they think the winning team will be – and how many games will be needed to win the series – in each round of the Playoffs. A share in a $35,000 jackpot is on offer for players with the most accurate predictions.
Customers without a FanDuel Sportsbook account can play easily using FanDuel’s light registration Fantasy (DFS) account, which is subject to much less regulatory restriction than sportsbook ones.
Round 1 of the Playoffs is currently underway, with each Conference having two more rounds after that, before the two Conference winners meeting in July to determine the overall NBA champions.
The SportCaller-FanDuel Hoops Challenge game is presented by Hulu. It can be played here (using a FanDuel DFS account).
